Hey my name is Renae, im from ringwood secondary college in year 9. we are working on the same thing as you guys are, but we dont know very much. i was wondering if maybe you could show me how to make clothes and a few other things if its not to much to ask ?
thankyou.
Hi Renae,
It’s so exciting to hear from you and congratulations on your involvement with your school’s OpenSim project!
We are not clothing gurus, however, we are all learning together and have made some exciting discoveries, so hopefully we can get you started. One of our Year 10 students has done a fabulous job creating a line of t-shirts for a recent project with Year 8′s. I will send you can email to see what we can organise.

Hello Lucy-
Moonworld is the NASA-sponsored Classroom of the Future’s virtual world for planetary geology field work. We ported MoonWorld to OpenSim, released on December 1 for players age 9 and up. Our companion environment for planetary geology field work is CyGaMEs Selene (selene.cet.edu ). Selene players, also age 9 and up, construct the Earth’s Moon, then pepper it with impact craters and flood it with lava flows. In addition to planetary geology concepts like stratigraphy, accretion, differentiation, impact cratering, and volcanism; Selene players discover and apply fundamental processes like gravity, kinetic energy, and density. Players also interpret graphs to simulate changes in the Moon’s surface over time. Both learning environments are free – 24/7. For information, please visit our websites or contact moonworld at cet.edu or selene at cet.edu. I have been in correspondence with Ines Puspita (SL Ines Ogura). On January 2, 2011 Ines posted machinima of her student’s work in MoonWorld (www.youtube.com/user/inespuspita?feature=mhum ).
Sincerely,
Debbie
Please consider adding Selene: A Lunar Construction Game and MoonWorld: Virtual Field Work in Lunar Geology to your resources page. Please contact me for additional information: debbie (at) cet.edu
